Invitation to artists to submit existing works for purchase consideration and installation in the hospital
.

Last year's four art commissions have been completed at Lewisham Hospital's impressive new Riverside wing next to the Ravensbourne River.
The art programme was commissioned by the Hospital Trust together with their private finance initiative (PFI) partners Carillion and has been funded entirely through the PFI source... The hospital is unlikely to purchase single artworks in excess of £4,000.
Artists should consider ... the emotional and spiritual dimension of peoples' lives... humanise otherwise functional buildings... therapeutic benefits... inspirational and thoughtful... land-mark creating... positive memory.
Artworks must be able to be cleaned. Special framing or installation methods can be considered to protect artworks where appropriate.

Basically - you should have recieved an email with the full blurb and submission details.
